In this three-hour training, participants will learn about ChemSex (otherwise known as Party N’ Play or PNP), a rising phenomenon related to sexualized substance use in the queer community. As participation in ChemSex grows, so does the need for public health intervention strategies that are rooted in harm reduction and are culturally appropriate. Training participants will be provided with the opportunity to gain understanding both in cultural competency (what is ChemSex, what drugs are being used, how and why etc.,) and Que(e)rying Harm Reduction (support strategies to help the queer community engage in ChemSex safely).
