Join us for our 2018 Annual General Meeting, on June 26th, at C-Space King Edward, 1721 29th Avenue SW at 6pm.
Our special guest for the event is Len Tooley. He has been doing HIV and sexual health-related work for over fifteen years as a service provider, researcher and advocate. He is currently the Research and Evaluation Manager at the Community-Based Research Centre for Gay Men’s Health in Vancouver, where he works with partners across the country to develop shared project evaluation metrics and tools. His past roles have included managing national research initiatives such as the Engage study, and coordinating national knowledge translation projects in queer men’s health. Len was an early adopter of PrEP, and in 2013 he was one of the first Canadians to speak publicly about using PrEP, through a series of interviews (bit.ly/2HJUoUi), in an effort to reduce stigma and correct misconceptions that were preventing its access and uptake.
Please RSVP to [email protected] if you are interested in attending the AGM.
