Since 1994, our fund has been dedicated to supporting our work, now under the banner of SafeLink Alberta. Endowments like ours allow for perpetual giving, as only the interest from the fund is spent, keeping the principal intact to continue generating support indefinitely.

Join the Legacy
Our work has a legacy, and you can be part of it. From 1985 until now, we have been supporting people living with HIV and educating the public to end its transmission. Most of all, we have been advocating for the rights of communities impacted by HIV and other STBBIs.
Legacy giving allows you to support SafeLink Alberta even after you’re gone, and there are several ways to do so in Canada:
- Bequests in a Will: Leave a fixed amount, asset, or percentage of your estate to a charity.
- Gift of Securities: Donate stocks or bonds directly, avoiding capital gains tax and receiving a tax receipt.
