DESCRIPTION:This course is designed to challenge assumptions and misinformation about HIV\, teaching participants about HIV\, its effect on the body\, current treatment options\, and advancements in prevention.\nHIV and its impact have been widely researched and discussed\, yet the stigma around an HIV diagnosis persists despite medical advancements. In HIV: A Comprehensive Approach to Empowering Individuals through Prevention and Support\, participants will gain essential competencies and critical support strategies to support people living with HIV. Certificates are awarded upon completion. \nYou can register for this training here.\nThis course is offered through our Individual Fee-for-Service Training program.\nThese trainings are modified versions of our Fee-for-Service training program for individuals. At SafeLink Alberta quarterly\, they are perfect for professionals seeking a certificate. They offer in-depth learning at an affordable price. \nWhat is SafeLink Alberta Fee-for-Service Training?\nSafeLink Alberta offers specialized training courses for service providers seeking intensive training\, with a certificate awarded upon completion. Participants will engage in interactive learning that emphasizes practical application\, cultural competency\, and advanced strategies for addressing systemic challenges.
