Knowledge Thirsty Thursdays: The Power of Harm Reduction in Addiction Recovery (Webinar)

May 18 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for an eye-opening exploration of the relationship between recovery and harm reduction. Contrary to popular belief, these two concepts aren’t necessarily at odds with each other. In fact, harm reduction acknowledges that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery and that people require support that meets them where they are. In this week’s Knowledge Thirsty Thursday, we’ll delve into various recovery paths, including abstinence-based models and medication-assisted treatments, and how harm reduction can foster an encouraging environment for individuals in recovery, irrespective of their chosen path. We’ll also examine how harm reduction techniques can enhance recovery, improve health outcomes, and minimize harm. Don’t miss out on this conversation as we explore the intersection of harm reduction and diverse recovery approaches. Prepare to broaden your horizons and accompany us on an exhilarating journey through the realm of harm reduction and recovery!
